Somewhat high key although I like the OOF reflection of the salt pannes grasses in the upper portion of the image.

    Does it work for you?

Couldn't get quite as low as I wanted for 2 reasons...first being foreground clutter and the second being that the reflection didn't present nearly as well through the viewfinder at a lower angle.

    Nikon D300s, 600VR, TC14EII, ISO 800, f 7.1, 1/400, NearUniWB, CW metering, +2.0 EV applied

Jim, this is gorgeous! It totally works for me. I like the background and HA, and of course the reflection.

Jim, this is very beautiful. I love all your high key images. The green at the top adds so much to this image. I'm not sure, but I feel like it could use a tad more contrast. Lovely image.

As I have never made a high key image; if you wouldn't mind sharing, what does the histogram look like in the original capture?

Great reflection and I like the warm colors in the background with the white on the bottom.

Works for me Jim. I like the two tone BG, and of course, you pulled off a great reflection.

Terrific reflection Jim. The green adds a lot. The only thing I would do is place a black border around the edge to mark the *end* of the image.

This is a perfect reflection. You could turn this image upside-down and nobody would notice !!

Agree with what has been said above - beautiful image - was the bird standing on a mirror ? I like the two tone background, sharpness and of course the head position.
