Exposure looks great for the lighting conditions and I nlike both the dorsal and ventral view of the wings.

    Good stare / eye contact.

I wish the angle weren't quite as sharp.

I might try and open those shadows a bit underneath,

An enjoyable and useful shot. I applaud you for giving us so much detail on the black parts of the eagle while retaining details on the white parts. Like Jim, I find the angle a bit pronounced.

Troy, Beautiful wing details. I feel that the entire image could be toned down just slightly(personal preference) I like the way you framed it and I would be quite happy with this one in my collection.:)

Thank you all. This was a take off shot and the nest is very close to the street on the side of the 4 lanes road. Angle is a bit steep when it is flying by...
Will try for a better shots next time.

Your eagle looks sharp with good feather details. Good job on keeping details on the white. I might be imagine things, but I like of see a glow around the bird.

Edited: After a second look it was probably my imagination :P

I do see a little glow on my PC at work, but looks fine on my Mac. So far, no one else has mentioned that. So I am not sure.

Great timing for the take off, and I like the intensity of the flight posture. Overall, nice and sharp.
