    Beautiful bird! I'm sure it was great fun to have a close encounter with one, even if it was captive. The BG compliments the bird nicely, and helps highlight the gold on the bird. I would have liked a slight head turn towards you, and I might do some additional sharpening around the eye.

    Dan, I love the moody look to this image and feel that it portrays the eagle in a strong way. Nice pose and details. I might evict the one dust bunny before print. Well done.
