    Default Fall Acorns

    Attached Images Attached Images

I had such fun last fall photographing acorns that recently I decided to revisit the subject. I arranged a bunch of acorns to create this shot.

Processing consisted of the usual converting to B&W and then adding four of my textures. I also selectively darkened the BG a bit to make the front acorn stand out more.

Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Christopher, I think the texturing adds a little something extra to this. I would love it if you put together a mini tutorial for your aging process-it really is fantastic! (no pressure:))

Christopher this is a great shot - love the treatment you have done. As Denise mentioned, I think it would be great of you did a little tutorial on how you do this. Awesome work!

Nice job Christopher. This is a cool "out of the box" image, yet following good solid photography rules..I like the light and I like the selective focus..Lots of acorns around here in October, I may try to shoot some. Looking forward to your tutorial.
