    Default Golden Aspen

I photographed these aspen at the last possible moment as the very next day the winter winds blew in and I'm sure all the leaves are now on the ground. Whew...! This is a vertical pan in-camera blur. I wanted a water-color like effect. I only used Shadows/Higlights in pp.

    C & C very welcome.

Nancy, It's beautiful. If it were mine and I wish it were I'd crop a tiny sliver off the left and the bottom but just a tiny bit. Very nice colors and flow. I'd also hang it on my wall if it were mine.:o

Beautiful flow to this, Nancy. I love the lines of the tree trunks and the golden colors. A very pleasing blur! :)

Nancy, nice blur you have captured here. Agree with Denise on the crop suggestions.

Nice one Nancy. The fall colors and blur work really well together. Glad you were able to preserve this moment, before all the color blew away... Good work with the panning and getting the effect in the camera!

    Hi Nancy,
Really like the flow, colors & the blur amount. I agree with Denise's:) suggesting and also wish it was mine.

Thank you everyone. I took tons of images that day experimenting with blurring. Then I spent an afternoon studying them. It was a great exercise. I then immediately purchased Denise & Artie's "Pleasing Blurs" and need to study that :).

Nancy, The colors and blur are gorgeous and I really like the delicate/soft nature of the image. Well done!
