    Yellow-rumped Warbler

Well I went out walking this afternoon without a camera and missed out on a oppt. with a Kestrel so I decided to go home and grab my camera and hoped for a return visit from the small Falcon to no avail.
But I was happy to at least walk away with this shot of this little Warbler. Like I was telling Doug Brown earlier as we were speaking that good oppts. are missed because of not having a camera oh well....:( It happens all the time. Right?

    Hi James
Bit of a shock seeing this after all your raptors. :)
It appears the focus was on the vegetation rather than the bird? Well, the lower half of the bird appears much sharper than the head area. I am looking at a web image though.
Like the pose, head angle too and the BG is wonderful.
    Cheers

Love the light and the "feel" to this image. I'm not sure about anyone else but I've found that YRW seem "soft" when it comes to their feathers and trying to get detail in them to show.

What a shock to see you post something other than a raptor! Gorgeous light, perch and subject here. Re-post does look sharper.
