What a gorgeous bird. The details in the whites look very good. Wonder if using a fill flash for some detail in the darks was a possibility.
The water looks fantastic. It appears that the image could use just a little bit of CCW rotation.
A bit tight on the left for me and wonder about the possibility of raising the shooting angle a bit to have the gorgeous blue water throughout.

Certainly is a beautiful bird! Great low angle, although I find myself wanting to see below the bulge of the front wave. As Sidharth mentions, a bit of CCW rotation, and a bit tight at left. The whites could go lighter (actually, the whole duck could) and with the body angled slightly towards us I wish the face also was. Thanks for sharing this beauty!!

I got a nice close-up view of a Common Eider in a park in London recently. Only had my P&S with me though. The low angle here is very nice, as is the shallow DOF. Agree with the suggestions regarding rotation, canvas on the left, and also the idea of brightening the entire bird a little.

Welcome, Tiziano, I have lots of questions :)

1-I see that you are from Italy. Where was this image made?

    2-Were you in a boat?

3- Can you please post the full frame original image? I am seeing some strange things here than nobody else is seeing....
