Future Hybrid?
Cape May, several days ago. If my ID's are correct, this is a male Gadwall with a female American Widgeon (the latter unfortunately a bit oof). They were swimming around looking very much like a couple. I'm familiar with our local Mallard + Black Duck combos, but less familiar with the habits of these two.
