    One of the last Dahlias from my garden.
    Taken indoors with natural light, 105mm macro lens, 1/25 sec., f3.8, ISO 160, tripod, manual exposure.
    I added one of my textures--Canvas Yellow.

    Your mastery of flower images is superb, you seem to get the most out of your subjects, the right angles, light..lovely presentation, soft colors and textures...well done

    Anita, I just love Dahlias and this one is fantastic! The soft colors combined with the linen like texture really works. One of your best IMO.:)

    Hi Anita, this is really lovely. I completely agree with comments about the color and texture, but what makes this special to me is how the eye is drawn into the central part of the flower, lingers there, and is then led off into the background. Love how the blossom melds into the color of the bg. Sweet!
