Default Eastern Bluebird at nest box

I worked with this image in the Topaz plug in for Lightroom, Used Topaz Adjust, sketch mode. Then reopened the image in Lightroom to soften up the colors and over sharpen a bit.
I think I like it but it might be just a bit to noisy for my taste.
    Any thoughts.
    Thanks for looking

    Janet,

Greetings. Interesting color palette... I think it works well with this subject. I'd prefer a little less sharpening. It would help some with the noise, but I think there is still a need for some chroma noise reduction in the bg and under the eave (I suspect selectively backing off the Topaz effect would also work).

Thanks for posting this one. It has a very distinctive look.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Nice composition, Janet. It is fascinating to see how the color palette of the nest box matches with that of the bird. Agree with your self assessment on the noise. Michael has good suggestion on chrome noise reduction. You could also try Topaz DeNoise5 and adjust the sliders. TFS.

Janet, I like the filtering used and the way the wooden house looks. I think the noise is mildly distracting but should be an easy fix. I might crop the top down to just past the nail head if it were mine. Nice looking image.

Hi Janet, I like this composition and the colors are super. I think the grainy look works find on everything except the background. It would be fairly easy to isolate the background and run some noise reduction on it. I think that would really make a difference in this image.
