    Taken at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary, southern california.
    Canon 20D, Canon ef 400mm f5.6, handheld.
    Tv= 1/4000, Av= 7.1, Iso= 200, Ec= -1/3

    I love this image, Hung. Excellent position in frame, with just the right head, body & wing positions for beautiful form. You nailed the exposure to catch details in both the darkest and lightest portions of the bird. The slight catchlight in the eye gives the image added life as well. Just a bit of overall sharpening would probably give the image even more snap.

    I love the pose and sharpness of this image. It looks to be a bit dark overall to me. I think a curves adjustment and maybe a boost in saturation would make it pop!

    Something like this (note that there is a bit of a halo from processing done to the original file).

    Beautiful flight shot. It's very sharp and had really nice color in that bright sun.
