Denise's post inspired me think of fract this morning... digging deep into my archives, i found this juvenile Northern Harrier and decided to give a glowing look to its already magestic personality! I tried few variations and finally settled on this one. I decided to open up the beautiful patterns of the inner primaries using a layer mask as also the eye and bill. Cropped and applied usm for the final web version. Hope you like it... your c&c will be appreciated.

Indranil, I've been in the mood to see some fract images too. I really like the glowing edges and the deep blue sky. Nice sharp eye and beak.

Very nice, Indranil! Stunning pose, and the frac glow and deep, vivid colors take it out of the park. Very well done! :)

I like the more subtle fract work on the hawk and the amount of detail you left so we can see his pretty face! I like the bold colors too. I looked at your website, you have some beautiful photos of birds, landscapes and photo art, most of which I've seen here.

Indranil, I really like this and the base capture is super! Love the harriers and you did a great job of capturing the spirit of this one. Nice dark sky and cool frac work.
