Hey Oscar, this is nice, but I think you can work on some improvements at your next opportunity. The biggest thing that I see is that the Blue-winged Teal (male) is swimming away from you and we don't get any good eye contact. In many cases, eye contact can be the difference between an ok and an outstanding image. I do like the deep blue water an ripples around the duck, though! See you around.

    Hi Oscar,
The duck is set properly in the frame; however, you want him swiming towards you, not away from you. I would like to see his head position turned looking at you. The water hue is a wee bit too strong for my taste. I do like the rings in the water. Did you saturate the water in Photoshop or did you set your Nikon on vivid color mode?

    All The Best...:)

Gus, Yes i do like it, what did you do? I did not do anything to it photoshop, and yes it was set in vivid color mode, which is where I always have it set.
    Thanks for the new look.

Hi Oscar Are you shooting in jepg? If you are would recommend switching to RAW yesterday If you are shooting in raw none of the settings in camera mater !!!!

As presented I would crop form top If you actually want to show the duck swimming away from you place the duck on the lower right corner and let him swim to the upper left Would be best to have him parallel and slight head turn The water doesn't look bad It is a mate of taste If you feel the saturation is too much just go to the green channel and back down on the blue In Lr there is a neat way to de-saturate a color Will tell Fab to show you in class

I like one thing that Gus did and that is lighten the image Looked a bit dark as presented Doing good !!!

    Hi Oscar!!

You have the idea but as Judd said the bird is leaving, you want him coming towards you or going from side to side. See if you can get lower next time also if yu can!

As far as photoshop stuff Gus did a nice job with what you have. It can be learned and I see you are taking a class with Fabs. That means you will be teaching us soon!! :)

    Keep them coming!!

    George:
Thank you for the positive comments. Still far from being able to teach, especially you guys.
But I'm having fun and learning interacting with people like you and the rest that always are willing to give of your time to help.
    Again, thank you.
