    Good job Ian! How did you manage to find soft light in Arizona? Must have been in the shade. In any case it was low contrast light, my favorite, and generally a contrast boost in post-processing is called for, and I would suggest it here. regards~Bill

    Thanks, Bill. Yep, he was up on a shaded branch (it was high-noon, so that was fortunate). I did some contrast enhancement, but I guess I need a bit more.

    It does look a little bit flat Ian but I really like everything else about it. Nice pose (even with it being so centered I still like it). Good HA and a nicely diffused BG. Well done...just give it a little curves boost and you'll be golden.

    HI Ian.......Like the pose and the breast feather detail. bg is a bit too busy for me even though it is nicely blurrred. More dof around legs would be nice but shooting upwards makes that hard.
