I honestly don't know what I did to this except turned it into a mini world from an infrared image of an oak tree. Then usm then Topaz Adjust to tone it a bit. I like some of the patterns that were created but it looks better as a TIFF.

    Thanks for looking.

Cheryl, Very interesting effect. I like the lines created from the tree and the way you chose to present this. Polar coordinates is one of my fav. filters. A lot of depth here. Nicely done. Where are you getting your sig. fonts-I love them!

Beautiful composition, Cheryl. I too like the pattern and the rustic look you managed to create. Nicely done.

Very imaginative, and I love the tone you've achieved. I don't think it would be as dynamic if it were warmer or cooler. JMO. Taking infrared to a new level ???

    This is great Cheryl!
Cool effect..I really like the radiating lanes heading away from the globe. I even like the signature which is saying a lot because I generally don't like sigs on photos at all.
I'm glad you said what the original shot was of.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Denise, I just scroll through fonts available in Elements and find something that compliments the image and usually I'll add some kind of effect to it. Dave, I used an old paper effect on the last layer to get the toning - up to that point I hadn't like the color.:)

Hi Cheryl, I'm liking this one too. The color of your toning is really unique and interesting. I would love to see this one turned upside-down also!

This is mesmerizing, Cheryl. Wonderful symmetry, and toning. I think you captured a BF in the center... :o
