I have an album with a slot for every bird I need for my quest....
This is a new addition to that album...wish they were all this good ;)
The place and time refer to the first time I saw this species.
I try to always get Guide Book "like" images if I can

I worked on this for a few days, I've photoshoped in something, can you tell what it is? I'm hoping not, that'll mean I did my job well..

Guess all you want, I'll post the original tomorrow, you see why I had to make the change ;)

Paul, what a neat idea for your bird list! (Am I the only one who doesn't know that people do this? ) I would guess the feathers where the wing bar is? But just a guess. I really like this.

Nice way to keep track of your species. Love the raised leg.

Paul, Very nice pose and sharp details. Great idea for recording. I'm going with the leg that is kicking out because I can't think of anything else:p Very nice PP work.

Beautiful composition, Paul. Love the pose. I can think of the bg sky being replaced or the extending the plank. nice pp.

Ok so it was an unfair question I guess, you can see what I photshopped in... he decided to look away just as I hit the shutter...

We're only limited by your abilities...so keep practicing

Paul, you are the king at head transplants! I would never have guessed that, but there does seem to be a lot of cloning work on the plank. Nice capture and good save on the head angle... :D

Wow! Great save. You would really, really hate to lose such an image with that leg action.
