    Hey Andreas,

    Good looking bird in great light! Maybe a tiny weeny bit over-sharpened, not much.

    What I do in cases like this is create another layer, sharpen as usual, create a layer mask and erase anything that looks overdone. In this case, the ring around the eye, and that speck in the top of the bird's right wing. NAd of course, I would erase any sharpening done to the perch or leaves.

    Hi Andreas I really like the pose , BG and composition in this image. They eye contact is excellent and Fab covered the usm. Very lovely capture !
