Like the comp and the colors behind the ram. Would like to see a little more of the feet.

Really like the view on this one although I'd tone down the yellows in the BG a touch. Was this a late afternoon shot?

It is probably my monitorhere at work, but it looks a little dark, otherwise it is great, BG and "lost" feet do not bother me at all.

Thanks for the comment. It was late afternoon, and the yellow was as fiery as it looks.

    Ignacio,

The diagonals of the hill the ram is on and the layers in the BG give the image a strong look. I agree that overall this image is a bit dark. I would lighten it using a curves selection then perhaps lighten the ram up some more itself to make it pop in the frame. I too agree getting the feet in and not covered by the grass would have been the icing on the cake. Overall, very well done.

Thanks for the reply Ignacio. Based on that info, I think I need to retract my suggestion. A nice image regardless.

I like the pose with the cocked head. I agree it seems a little dark but like the strong fall colors.

I live in aspen country and those yellows can be that bright. However I believe you are showcasing the ram and agree that lightening the animal would allow it to be the first thing your eye is drawn to. That is a very nice ram with good curl in the horns and a very scenic mountain setting. Your point of view is good in that the entire animal is surrounded by the dark green BG and does not intersect with the yellow/green part of the BG.
