    This image was created some days before in a local park here in Athens, Greece. There is plenty of action there due to the mating season.
    Canon 1D MkIIn, 300 f/4L IS + 1.4x II
    1/2500, ISO 400, f/5.6, -2/3 EV

    Well done. Your coots seem to have much more prominent frontal shields than ours. Like the splashing and the framing.

    Good action captured here. Although minor, I'd consider cloning out the bright streak in front the bill in the reflection.

    Nice running pose. I might crop a bit off the top since the reeds don't add much to the image.
