    What a beautiful bird. I realy like the contrast with the bg. I might be inclined to crop this tighter, especially from the top and a little bit from the left side.

    I agree with Bonnie; framing a little bit tighter would very likely improve the image. I like the contrast with the background but imho the bright whitish stalk running down on the left side and the two on the right coming in from the top and the right take away attention from the bird ... which is beautifully captured with

    Ram, good pose, and just love the light and colours on the munia. This is really sharp. I like how the head is framed in between the grasses.

    too good ram. surprisingly i just processed my 10 scaly breasted munia images from bangalore trip. first time i got the shots of that species. almost similar habitat i've got too :)
