    Default Cheetah cubs play fighting

Here is my first image from this years trip to Kenya.

There were six of these cubs, which was a delight to witness as typically six don't survive very long unfortunately. Mum had just killed their breakfast and despite them having very full stomachs they still found the energy to have a pretend fight.

    C&C most welcome.

Pretty cool. Great positions on both of them with front paws off the ground and getting ready to charge. Clean FG doesn't distract from the action. Nicely done.

Austin - great image. Love the action, the position of the cubs and that you can see they have full, extended bellies.

I will not comment on colour as I am viewing this on an uncalibrated monitor.

Who could not love young Chettahs, full bellies and time for a game, great stuff;)

    Good luck for tonight!

Great interaction! Like how both are standing on their hind legs.

Great timing and poses. Almost like a kitten attacking itself in a mirror.

great interaction and story ! Colour looks a little flat on my monitor but by the looks of the wet tails and fur it could have been overcast?

It seems we were in the Mara at the same time. We spent five glorious days following these guys. Excellent photo here.

Hi all, thanks for your feedback. Very much appreciated.

I have revisited the image and adjusted mainly contrast and upped the saturation and it looks much better on my computer now.

@Andrew, You are right it was early morning, fully overcast and the dew on the grass had wet the fur of the cubs.

@Stephen, I wish I had known that you were in the area, it would have been great to put a face to the name.

    Cheers

    Austin
