Hi Valerio, I have moved this to ETL as there is much to learn... The slide was badly scratched. It is relatively easy to learn to eliminate these scratches with the clone stamp (and other tools as well). The corners are very dark--this is called vignetting. The image is underxposed, the bird too small in the frame, and too centered. Assuming that your scan was a large one, this could be dramatically improved once you learn Photoshop. later and love, artie

    Hi Valerio

With small birds in frame we like to frame them in one of the corners For this I would place on the lower left !!! I know with slide film the norm is to underexpose by a third or so but this seems dark

Lighten the bird some Did not corp and reposition since the image would break up

    Default Bird of prey

    Welcome Valerio,
The bachground is a bit too saturated for my taste, and the subject needs to be placed to the left side of the frame ( rule of 1/3 ) and the shooting angle of capture is too low or steap. Was the original a slide, print, or digital?

    All The Best,

    Gus Cobos...

I apologize not having seen before. I'll work in Photoshop, I'll also see what to choose in various Adobe products. Yes I have to learn in Birds. Do you know what's the bird? Good Easter.

    Hi Valerio!

I am not that great at Bird ID, maybe Judd will be along soon. Looks like a hawk for sure but maybe a red shouldered hawk? We will se when the experts show up. Keep them coming and nice to see images from Cuba!! That is one place I am dying to visit.
