    Default Bird blur abstract

Well, I just finished Artie and Denise's blur guide and loved it. I'm not sure which category this blur fits into:o and I'm not sure what kind of birds (I think gulls) or how many or what the little lines in the sand are( but I liked them).) I cropped a little from the top and I think that's all.
I'm not sure if I like the whole image or not but thought I'd throw it out for comments.

    Thanks for looking:)

Nice abstract blur, Cheryl. I like the gradient bg and sky on top. A slight cw rot may improve this further, IMHO. The wing movement looks like brush stroke; wish for a bit more definition of the gull. That's just me. Also, i would remove the single brown streak on lower middle, if it were mine. TFS.

Cheryl, I love the soft flow to this. The abstract quality is lovely. Colors are soothing. Some like more details in their blurs but I'm fine with the ghosting look that you get sometimes. The only thing I wish is that there was more separation btwn the main bird and the other one. Nicely done. I am glad that you enjoyed the book and thanks a ton for the proof-reading!

Cheryl, I think Indranil and Denise touched on the points I would have made quite well. I think the image works on an abstract level but almost seems like it should go a little more one way or the other - more abstract or more detailed. I like the soft colors and your framing.

I like this, Cheryl. Part of me would like to see more detail, but I also like it just fine as an abstract. The soft colors are very pleasing, and nice composition. I agree with Indranil on a slight rotation.

    Hi Cheryl,

I think this does work on the abstract level. Agree with the suggestions mentioned.
