Stephen - interesting image. Looks like a youngster. How high off the ground is this? I like how the body is sort of on a diagonal through the frame and the pleasing bg.

Great capture of the moment, he/she looks pensive, but hopefully the descent was soon over.

This is simply fantastic. The detail in the claws, it looks like the cub is desperately trying to stay in contact with the tree. Good detail in the bark and an excellent backgroung. I'd love to see something unusual like this.

Great to see a new angle and take on this addictive subject.

I love the claws and wish for a bit more eye contact.

Well done Stephen. The unique POV really puts this over the top. What lens was used? Tripod or Handheld?

Great action and I love the position of the cheetah, especially with the hind legs not touching the tree.

Thanks for the comments guys. The cheetah was about a metre or so from the ground and I used a 500f4. At one point this cub, it's mother and five siblings were all in this tree. I got some nice wider shots but liked the idea of going tight.
