A follow up from my previous post. Taken two weekends ago on a private farm where these guys are breeding and nesting. I can vouch that these guys never went hungry. Every image I have of these guys, they have a meal in their beaks. Cleaned some white stuff on the lower part of the perch, which is a protruding root from a tree.

Stunning, Stuart. Beautiful HA on both birds, great light and color and background. And the two bees are a real double-whammy.

Excellent image Stuart, I like the sharpness and light on the birds. Head angle of both birds and with bees is fantastic - well captured.

    Stuart,

Wonderful capture, as everybody else is commenting on the bees I would just like to add that virtually every sighting I have had features dragonflies.
