Hi All, Here's my second post, another shorebird from Ft. DeSoto last weekend. I was actually lying on my stomach in about three inches of water to get this but feel the image was worth getting a little wet :) Cheers, Jack

I can totally relate to laying in water, and with the past couple of days we've had here in the bay area, no way will I be out there!!!
I'm thinking this might be better as a vertical composition, for I would really like to see more of this little ones reflection in the wet sand. Otherwise, this is a great find, and one of my favorites to photograph too!!!
What a lovely pose. The details and exposure are very well done. I would like to see the bird just a hair more off center. The BG and low angle makes this image very strong. Very nice work!
Hi Jack beautifully captured with excellent detail in the blacks and wonderful lighting and the low angle makes it for me. I agree about moving it a little more to the left but very lovely work !!!
