    Default Washington's Crossing

    Attached Images Attached Images

I took a drive to Washington's Crossing today in hopes of finding a path that had fall foliage lining the sides. No I didn't find that path but I did settle for this tree. I used Artie's fish-eye lens that he loaned me till Bosque. I added a Nik Silver Efex filter and a Topaz Simplify filter. I also masked back in the color of the leaf that was stuck to the side of the tree. I also cloned in at a very low opacity some of the leaf texture to the empty BG areas.

Sweet!! It reminds me of a Harry Potter movie. The leaf is a really nice touch.:)

Excellent composition, Denise. Fisheye definitely brought out an interesting perspective. I love the effect on the bark and the leaves. Beautiful backlight. Nicely done.

I love everything about this one from the killer image design to the leaf to the witch like limbs to the halo of light at the top of the tree. Not to mention the crown of leaves on the tree, the interesting distant BKGR, and the branches with leaves in the lrc. This one really keeps the viewer's eye moving and the image has captivated me.

Denise, this is an Ent right out of Lord Of The Rings! Wow! I just love this. You have it all going on with perspective, drama, and effects. The lone leaf just puts it over the top for me. Brilliant!

Love the fact that you've kept the detail in the trunk and the whole image is really beautiful. Love the addition of the coloured leaf.

Fantastic image Denise. I like the B&W conversion, the details throughout, the lone leaf is a perfect touch. Outstanding processing work.

Everything about this image is amazing. Love the light from top and all the variation of silver/gray it creates on the leaves.
