Default Dunlin on a cloudy morning

I took this a couple of weeks ago. It was early morning with light cloud cover.

Like the head-on look and the extra space on the right. Wish I could just a little more of the right eye.

I like the perspective here, together with the good DOF. Lovely soft light too.

I like this one Allan. I was first wondering how it would look in the center, but now think that the shape of the little bump in the sand justifies the composition you chose. Nice one.

Lovely light and pose. I like the COMP as is. I would work large and clean the tip of the bill if it were mine.

I like the composition as it is. I wanted room to the right and I think the little hill it is on helps that. I agreed the ha is not perfect, but I am happy at this point to have both eyes shown. I never noticed the tip of the bill needs cleaning but will work on it.

    Thanks for the comments.

Like the pose, like th light and I agree with Artie about the end of the bill...especially as it's OOF and will look less like a blob if it were trimmed by removing the debris.

I wish the eyes were evenly shown, but they are fairly close.

I would "level" the image by leveling the center of both eyes horizontally.
