Beautiful image Fab:
If you could have just gotten the Egret to hold the fish pointing the other way (towards us) it would be perfect!

Lovely delicate portrait. Eye-pleasing shot.
Very good job on the whites here. Nice slight shadows, sharp eye. The head turn police will love you for the eye contact! :) You and Alfred must live at Anhinga. I sure wish I was there right now. This image gives me something to aim for when I go back. I want to focus on elegant closeups, fine details and emotional appeal of the subject. Post more like this one Fabs.
Perfect. What focal length?
later and love, artie

I like the soft light, details and BG. The fish adds to it. Nothing you could have done about the fish pointing the other way.
I Iove the dark bg,timing, light and details, great work Fabs!
Great picture. I am always afraid to "cut" birds while framing a picture, but it works great in this picture. It gives me some inspiration for this weekend, I am planning to go to Anhinga trail.
A great capture and beautiful image. I'm glad I'm not a fish!!!!!
