OOTB processing to get to here ;) Pre-dawn shot with distant wharf "street lights" as only lighting. Playing with my then brand new D3 (12/2007), ISO 25,600 1/30 sec f/4 HH VR 98mm FL. NR, detailing, color work along with a > 50% crop.

    Thanks for looking...

    Cheers,

Micheal ..The face came out really well, the details even inside the mouth show well..I might have cropped this vertically, emphasising the face and right side of body...but hey your image, your vision

Michael, I like the way the lighting looks on the face and body. I'd like to see the lighter area on the rhs either cropped or darkened.:)

Michael, Great eye contact and expression . The open mouth makes this sweet. The lighting conditions look like they were difficult to work with. I might crop in much tighter for this one.:)

    Paul, Cheryl, Denise,

Thanks much for commenting. Yeah, I think additional work on the crop is in order. It's one of those you had to have been there to see how this really was shooting in the dark! ;) I was totally amazed that there was a shadow!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Nice composition, Michael. There is not much I can add beyond what has been said. Crop would make a difference. TFS.
