Gus, The original looks good. I like the colors that the effect added to the BG. I do see some halos around the bird in pane #!. It appears a tiny bit tight on the bottom. Very nice details and I love your stroke!

Yes, I see the halos. Sketchwork is very interesting. Nice work. Too bad the wings wouldn't "sketch" too. The eye is particularly good.

Nice composition, Gus. Excellent original to start with. Topaz Adjust/sketch did bring out interesting effect and I like the border here with that beautiful bg. I think the halo shows up when combined with s/h adjustment; not sure if that is how it got introduced here. TFS.

Hi Folks;

Thanks for looking, so called halo is just the bloom put there by Topaz sketch, not a sharpening artifact. Supposed to be artistic OOTB.
