    An example of what happens when Wildlife parks are mismanaged.

    Mikumi National Park in Tanzania has little if any natural water, there are some pumped waterholes, but clearly this one is not working. The Hippos could of course move but there is a rather busy main road between them and the nearest wet waterhole, given the fact that the parks most famous former residents a pack of Wild Dog were all run over, who can blame them. The rain should have arrived by now.

    I like that we can see the eyes on the four in the mud and their positioning forms a strong "V" formation. Good graphic look to this image.

    Ken - I like the perspective on this as well as the texture of the mud. You really convey their plight here and the need for rain.

    Even without your description, this photo tells a story. Regardless of whether it's supplied by man or nature, these animals need water and there doesn't seem to be any around.

    Surreal how the hippos blend right into the mud. It really tells a story about the water shortage.
