    Default Wild Kestrel

Here's a Wild Kestrel, taken at the height of the british summer last June.

I was pushing the EF300 f4 a little with a 1.4TC on the 1DN at ISO400. But was happy with the result.

Lovely pose and very sharp, but too light on my calibrated monitor and the whites on the top of the head look toasted... If you have the RAW there is lots you could do to save the highlights.

Agree with Artie about the brightness, especially on the background, head and left wing. Excellent action shot overall!
