    Default Rock Kestrel with dinner

I am off to Russian again for making a living, so I haven't had much time for participating. Here is a nice bird from Aus, Namibia. I had to compress it a lot to get itnto the 200kb limit. I hope it is still ok. Edited on my laptop. Comments are welcome.

Lorant, A colorful bird, sharp and well-focused, and well placed in the frame. Good head angle. No noise in the sky on my monitor. You can almost imagine the crunch as the worm (?) gets sucked up! For me there is just the right amount of tree, but it would be even better if the 2 branches weren't crossing the bird's tail.

Looks like it could have been munching on a lizard? Anyhow, nice feeding behaviour. Good comp overall but I'd prefer the longest branch not being so close to the edge. BTW, image seems to have stood up OK from all the compression.

    Good luck in Russia, Lorant.

Perfect colours and eye, my guess at the lunch would be a lizzard.

Like the tail hanging out of the beak. Could use just a little sharpening around the eye.
