I can't imagine it is easy to get this type of image out in the forest but you found a clearing that let us see the bellow well. Curled tongue works well here.

I had to giggle when I saw this image b/c it looks as though the pool deer has snot coming from his nose which has attached itself to the tree. I like the curled tongue and the extended neck. However, I feel that in this case all the trees really detract from your subject.

Really like the way the deer is coming at you through the trees. Nice clear shot of the eyes as well.
