    Default Red Roof

The other day while searching and finding a "Golden-Crowned Sparrow" which is a life bird for me and "Bird 589" of my quest near my home. Too bad it didn't stick around, my photo wasn't that great but I did see it and get a photo.

Only 110 more to go.....hope I live that long.

This Cardinal landed on a orange/red brick tile roof near sundown, it gave me a chance to capture it in an attentive pose...with a colorful and different background.

Paul, The monochromatic look to this is wonderful. I like the lines of the roof and the cardinal is a nice touch. Congrats on the find!!:)

Nice one Paul! I like the tones to this one and as Denise mentions, the lines also.

Paul, I love this one! Love the lines and the lighting is beautiful. (And I love cardinals).

Very nice composition, Paul. Beautiful bird! I love the color and the pattern. I was wondering if you tried a different crop - just feel this could also be nice with a horizontal crop, IMHO.

Congrats on the find Paul. I love the colors on this one and the undulating background is very interesting. It is an interesting crop, I like the little guy sitting down there.

Well that ranks as one of the most interesting cardinal photos I've seen! I love the colors, comp, and processing. Congrats on the sparrow life bird!
