    First I used Pixel Bender and then Fotosketcher for texture and painted effect with low amounts and then I added a texture at low opacity.

    I'm not sure which is better the effect on the bird or the seed pods, lovely colors and textures...TFS

    I agree w/ Paul. The effect on the seed pods is very interesting. Maybe just a bit tight on top, but I do see why you chose this comp.:)

    Very nicely done, Judy! The painting effect and texture are just gorgeous, and excellent colors and comp. I notice an spot on the bird's head where the bird's color blends with the leaf behind it that I might clean up.

    Thanks Denise. I cropped like that because the leaves/pods above it would be impossible to clone out effectively.

    Hey Judy, this has a great fabric look to it. It makes me think of something my Aunt would have brought home from one of her trips to exotic places! :)
    The bird looks nice but I think the seed pods are the stars of this image. Well done!
