Lovely Image Chris. If I had to pick a nit, I would have preferred the wing tip on the left to not coincide with the rock surface. But maybe I'm asking for too much. :D

    Beautifully Done!!!

    Chris:

Good techs as always, love the head and talon against the clear blue sky, blue in bird goes with sky and blue/gray rocks tones. Perfect timing on landing.
I agree with Bibhav about the primaries merging with the rock on the birds right wing, but the action is so strong, it is a minor thing.

    Cheers

    Randy

Love the position of the feet and the out-stretched neck. Spectacular pose and light and setting. I wish that the head (and the neck) were angled just a bit more towards us.

We never got the CD :)

What impresses me in this, are the colours on the head. Excellent timing for the approach, and I like the overall detail and sharpness. Well captured Chris.

Fantastic landing pose I like the grounded foot and the other raised foot getting ready to complete the touchdown sweet shot. These large birds must be easy targets for you.:D

Chris, You really had great timing for this to capture the head and neck down w/ the one raised foot. It really is fantastic.
