Sweet bird Steve 1!!! I like the feather detail and look and bg Not bad for an owl image in a tree You could work on the eyes and make them pop a little more ... and the big one is room for the virtual tail !!
A great portrait of this magnificent bird. I like the composition the way it is, it shows the environment well without the bird getting lost in the branches.
Great find and setting. I would prefer a slightly wider crop.
Hi Steve, I like it as is. With the big branch framing the bottom, I would not want to see the virtual tail... Where are you from? When you say "model," I am assuming that you mean "cooperative subject."

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. I didn't go for a virtual tail as it wasn't visible because of the branch. I used the branch to "anchor" the image and avoid some bright highlites in the BG.
