    I started with an image of fall trees. I used polar coordinates and a layer mask to get the shape that I wanted. I then added some saturation, then I used Niks new HDR Efex Pro to give me the final look.

    Denise, nice pinwheel indeed! Love the sense of motion. It also makes me think of a nice piece of candy. Eye candy! :)

    Very nice effect, Denise. It does resemble jet engine intake. Nicely done.

    Hi denise....very cool effect! I like it alot! What effect/ change to the image do you feel the HDR step had specifically?

    Bob, It was mostly a contrast and tonal change that the software added.:)
