    Shot this morning at a boat dock. The pelican is watching for a handout from one of the fishermen cleaning his fish. The red and blue in the background is a reflection from one of the boats. Comments and suggestions appreciated!

    Hi Maureen,

    There's alot to like.....good pose, good exposure and sharpness, might have been improved if the bill was turned toward you a little. I love the colors in the whole image. If you have the extra room I would leave just a tad more room on the right side. I also love seeing the foot under water....well done!

    Great capture, young lady, only nit, I would like to see more room all around, "Don't fence me in" Super shot! :cool:

    Thanks, Joel. I think he should have turned his head a bit too, but try as I might to coax him to do it, he was simply more interested in the nice man with the fish than he was in me.

    And thank you Gus for your kind words and suggestion! Here is a different crop with a bit more canvas all around.
