    Stuart, Great panning technique! I might crop out background bird reflection in center and add more canvas in front of subject.

    Great shot! I love that you were able to get a profile picture instead of the traditional full bill shot. The spoonbills have always eluded me, I guess I haven't been on the coast enough!

    Beautiful color, detail and pose. Love those wings. Exposure looks good. I would favor less room on the bottom and more on the top and consider cloning out the the dark reflection on the right.
