A Yellowthroat warbler from Merrit Island NWR, Shiloh Marsh Road. These guys are often heard but you have to work a little to get a shot of them out in the open. After a while this one came out into the sunlight for a nice exposure. As always, please critique!

Attractive bird, sharp on the eye.
The lighting is the challenge here. Dappled or uneven lighting is always a bit tricky, and I find the shadows here somewhat distracting. The bright spots in the background also tend to pull our eye away from the bird.
If possible I would try him again, and hope for more even lighting.

David, I agree w/ Randy's comments. I always try to get even lighting when photographing these small birds-especially when they are in cluttered or distracting BG's. I think you created a sharp well exposed image and would like to see your next one.:)
