    Killer wing stretch and sharpness. The bird is angled away from you just a hair and the light looks a bit blue, yet still a fabulous image. Warming it up a bit might be an option.

    Beautiful wing stretch (not to mention exposure, comp, background, sharpness), on my favorite shorebird. Very nicely done. Congrats.

    Beautiful...I'm sure I have seen the very same bird:D. Desoto is a great spot and I go often, mostly chasing that Reddish Egret. What time of day/morning?

    The light was beginning to get ever so slightly harsh but I find the water and sand acts well as a reflector to fill in some shadow areas.
