My first ever reasonable image of one of these.

Fairly large crop, gardening to hopefully remove sticks and twigs.

Well I think this one is more then reasonable. Killer BG and minimalism perch (Perch - is that the right thing to say for wildlife? :confused:)
Great head position and very even light on the subject really make for a pleasing image Ken.
Beautiful light and pose. Just wondering if nose and mouth are a bit soft and could have used a little more DOF. It could just be a result of downsizing image for posting.
How about mount?
A very nice photo. Sharpness looks good as these always seem difficult to not oversharpen.

Looking at it again I agree that the nose is a little soft, the animal itself is as Steve said almost "self sharpened" because of the nature of its fur.
This was one of three on a very large boulder about 15 metres high, how they get up there I have no idea.
I quite liked the close crop but looking at it again, I see the possibilities in particular at the bottom where the rock has nice texture and colour, the small space on the LHS side is mainly down to the close presence of another half obscured animal.
Ken, Awesome IQ and details. Bg is wonderful. I agree it's a bit tight but I still love it.
