    Canon 40D, Canon 600mm + 1.4x, F5.6 @ ISO 800

    Exposure looks good against that dark BG, Santanu. Having the bird angled away is not ideal and the face seems to be just beyond the zone of critical focus which is leaving it a bit soft. I like the simple slender perch. What SS did you have?

    Tony has covered the main points, most the angle could be better, and I think a higher ss too.
