Taken down the road from my house a couple weeks ago in brilliant late day sun. Single image tone mapping in Photomatix. Straightened, brightened and sharpened in CS3.
Any comments and critiques greatly welcomed.

Hi Melissa, Beautiful color with a very dramatic sky. The image looks sharp front to back but be aware that shooting landscapes at F9 with an object close in the foreground will probably not be sharp throughout.
I might try and tone down the very bright area in the center of the cloud since it's pulling my eye .
A cropping option would be to crop the sky down to about an inch above the main cloud....

Nice repost. I like how the V shape of the clouds is mimic by the V shape of the hills towards the center of the image.

    Hey Melissa,
Still in the Tetons......I like the repost central cloud......but I prefer the OP crop and darker tones elsewhere. I think if you just tweak that central cloud similar to what you have in the repost.....it will work overall for me as the v is stronger in the OP. Keep Dave's f-stop in mind for when you are out in the field in the future also! Nicely done overall!

I prefer the OP crop. Terrific perspective and very well exposed.
