Never got a chance to shoot with Artie and Denise while here in Yellowstone and the Tetons:(.....but did do a lot of blur work for a project I have in mind. All in camera and only a slight tone down of 1 downed log.....then levels, contrast, and sharpening. I know that most blurs are done in overcast......had to push the envelope and go for the sunlit ones! 0.4 sec exposure at ISO 100 and f25

Roman, I really like the effect you got and love the shadows creating so many nice lines. I could see a crop from the top to eliminate the down trees at the ulc also making it more of a pano. I also like the sharpness you've gotten in the grasses.

Roman, Very creative and different. This inspires me. I like the composition w/ the diagonal lines and I like the amount of blur. Cheryl's idea of a pano might look nice also-but either way this is an appealing blur! :)

Nice to see a high contrast blur! I like the effect on the grass and the colors.

    Hey Roman,
This is a fantastic high contrast blur. Love the diagonals formed by the tress and the texturized look of the grass you created. Really like the look & feel.

I have always been attracted to the sun on the tall grasses but could never create an interesting image. Adding the dark tree trunks and the shadows is brilliant! I love the combined effect.

Nice image and application, Roman. Like the light and shadow effects.

The only thing I find distracting are the thin bright (mostly horizontal) stripes. I might tone down or evict most of them, if it were mine. But ... your image ... your vision.

Hi Roman, this is courageous blur. It's different and I like it a lot. I just love the colors of the grasses and lupines against those dark trees and shadows. The angle of the shadows versus the vertical trees is great. I do wish those bright horizontal line weren't there, but that's a minor point in the overall image. Way cool!
