Photographed this Cactus Wren feather lying in the decorative rock in our garden this morning, converted to B&W and then: in CS5>Select>All>Edit>Stroke>Width>70px>Color>Dk Grey> location>Blendiong>Mode>Screen>Opacity>50%>OK . . .Simple and sort of interesting?

    Comments welcome & always appreciative

    Hey Gus,
I think the B&W convesion was a wise choice! I do think it is simple....yet effective! Nicely seen and executed.

Gus, I like the b&w for this image and love the contrast of the lighter framing and the sharp image inside. Nicely done.:)

really like this Gus - the sharp detail of the feather is beautiful in b&w, and thank you so much for saying how you used Stroke - I've never looked at it before but now i will!

Black and white was a great choice for the feather. I like the framing too.

Uncle Gus, I am so glad to see you posting here again - I have missed your images! This one really appeals to me. I love the combined natural and graphic concepts present so nicely. Really well done!

Would you mind if I linked this post to our workflow sticky?
