a killer bg with a great action,pose!
A very nice shot for many reasons: lovely smooth lighting, great BG toning nicely with the perch, sharp, balanced crop and above all a superb subject.
There appears to be some strange colours in the wing, and it has got such a defined upper edge, that it looks like it is pasted on, sorry.

No worries! There has been no manipulation of the BG. The bird landed on an isolated perch that was very far from the grass BG(as they often do) and we had a nice frame filling shot.:D . I shoot my images in faithful setting and in pp,I had to desaturate the image a little.
